The organization of ICAST2014 is very pleased to offer you and your accompanying persons a wide range of social meetings the Hague and its surrounding.

 

You are all invited  at 5PM for the welcome reception and pre-registration in the lobby of the conference venue, the Mercure Hotel in The Hague

 

We are proud to announce the 1st edition of the Prof. Ben Wada Award for the Best Poster Presentation.

 

The prize is kindly provided by Delft University of Technology, and it is named after the friend and colleague Dr. Ben Wada, for his most important contribution to the development of Adaptive Structures.

 

The scientific committee will select the recipient of the Award based on the examination of the posters displayed during the poster sessions and upon discussions with the author/authors present during the sessions.

The prize consists of € 500,- and it will be accompanied by a certificate for each of the authors of the poster. 

 

The winner/winners will be announced during the conference dinner.

 

A special lunch will be served on the boats that will bring us to the Technical University of Delft.

 

After the 2 parallel sessions the Dean of Aerospace Engineering will welcome you and invite you for a tour to the different labs of the faculty.

 

The conference dinner will be served in the old Glue & Gelatine Factory in Delft. Touring cars will bring you back to The Hague at the end of the evening
